Paddle Merchant of Record: For purchases processed through Paddle.com, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for those orders. Paddle provides customer service for such orders and handles applicable returns and refunds in accordance with its applicable buyer terms.
1. Project Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation in writing by contacting Eastech Cloud Solutions.
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a cancellation request is received before project work begins, Eastech Cloud Solutions will review the reason for cancellation.
A refund may be approved where the cancellation is due to a reasonable project-related circumstance, such as a significant change in the customer's business requirements, circumstances that prevent the project from continuing, or another situation mutually accepted by both parties.
Where a refund is approved, the amount refunded may be reduced by any actual administrative, payment-processing, or third-party costs already incurred specifically for the project, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Cancellation After Work Begins
If project work has already started, the refund will be determined based on the work completed, resources committed, and actual costs incurred up to the cancellation date.
If the customer has a reasonable project-related reason for cancellation, Eastech Cloud Solutions may deduct the reasonable value of work already completed and any actual third-party costs or expenses already incurred specifically for the project. Any remaining eligible balance will be refunded.
If the customer cancels after work has started without a reasonable project-related reason , a minimum cancellation charge of 20% of the total project fee will apply.
This charge reflects the time, scheduling, resources, and project commitment made by Eastech Cloud Solutions.
Where the reasonable value of completed work and actual project costs exceeds the 20% minimum charge, the higher applicable amount may be deducted instead.
If a customer pays $999 for a project and cancels after approximately 25% of the agreed work has been completed, the amount retained may be approximately $250, plus any applicable actual third-party costs, with the remaining eligible balance refunded.
Eastech Cloud Solutions will not charge for work or expenses that have not been completed, incurred, or committed before the cancellation date.
Partial Work and Deliverables
If a project is cancelled after work has started, the customer may receive completed project deliverables that have been fully paid for, where reasonably applicable.
Unfinished work, source files, credentials, licenses, or other materials may remain with Eastech Cloud Solutions until any applicable outstanding amounts have been settled.
2. Monthly Service Plans
Monthly service plans may be cancelled by providing written notice to Eastech Cloud Solutions.
Fees already paid for the current billing period are generally non-refundable once that billing period has started .
However, a pro-rata or other refund may be provided where required by applicable law or agreed upon in writing.
Cancellation will normally take effect at the end of the applicable billing period unless otherwise agreed.
For monthly software or subscription products purchased through Paddle.com, cancellation and refund requests may also be handled through Paddle in accordance with the applicable product terms and buyer policies.
3. Service Quality and Service Issues
If a customer believes that a service does not meet the agreed requirements, they should contact Eastech Cloud Solutions within 7 days of becoming aware of the issue.
Eastech Cloud Solutions will review the concern and, where appropriate, make reasonable efforts to correct the issue or provide another appropriate solution.
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may include correcting the affected work, completing an agreed outstanding requirement, providing a partial refund, or another solution agreed by both parties.
Refunds will not normally be provided for issues caused by changes to requirements, customer-provided information, third-party services, or circumstances outside Eastech Cloud Solutions' reasonable control, subject to applicable law and any rights provided by the applicable payment provider or Merchant of Record.
4. Third-Party Services and Costs
Some projects may require third-party services, software, licenses, subscriptions, APIs, cloud infrastructure, payment services, or other external resources.
Refunds for third-party services are subject to the policies of the respective third-party provider.
Third-party costs already paid specifically for the customer's project may be deducted from any applicable refund where those costs cannot be recovered, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
5. Intellectual Property and Project Materials
Ownership of custom project work and deliverables will be handled according to the applicable project agreement or service terms.
Where a project is cancelled before completion, ownership or transfer of unfinished work is not automatically granted to the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any third-party software, licenses, templates, or other materials remain subject to their respective ownership and licensing terms.
6. Refund Processing
For direct payments and project engagements managed by Eastech Cloud Solutions, approved refunds will generally be processed within 10–15 business days after the refund has been approved.
Refunds for purchases processed through Paddle.com are handled through Paddle in accordance with its applicable buyer terms and refund procedures.
Refunds will normally be issued using the original payment method where possible.
The time required for a refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on Paddle, another payment provider, or the customer's financial institution.
7. Refund Requests and Disputes
Refund or cancellation requests should be submitted in writing and should include sufficient information to identify the relevant project, service, or transaction.
For direct Eastech Cloud Solutions engagements, Eastech Cloud Solutions will review the request and communicate the applicable refund amount and any deductions before processing an approved refund.
For purchases processed through Paddle.com, customers may contact Paddle regarding order, payment, return, or refund matters in accordance with Paddle's applicable buyer support procedures.
If a customer disagrees with a refund decision, they may request a further review by contacting Eastech Cloud Solutions or, where applicable, Paddle.com for a Paddle-processed transaction.
Both parties will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably before pursuing other available remedies.
8. Statutory and Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any rights, remedies, guarantees, or protections that customers may have under applicable consumer protection or other applicable laws.
Where applicable law provides rights that are more favorable to the customer than the terms of this policy, those legal rights will apply.
9. Policy Changes
Eastech Cloud Solutions may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page and will generally apply to future projects and services unless otherwise stated.
